Berkeley Career Engagement is located at 2440 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94720 (between Dana Street and Telegraph Avenue across from Eshleman Hall).

Public Transit

  • Take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to the Downtown Berkeley Station.
  • To reach Berkeley Career Engagement, walk south 3 blocks on Shattuck Ave to Bancroft Way. Cross the street and turn left (east) on to Bancroft Way. Walk east for 3 1/2 blocks. Berkeley Career Engagement will be on the right hand side of the street, at 2440 Bancroft Way.

Parking and Maps

We always recommend public transit or a ride share if you’re able, as our campus is located in a city and parking can be difficult.

The following information applies to on-campus interviews and employer events only, as parking and logistics for Career Fairs will receive separate instructions.

For interviews/events held at Berkeley Career Engagement

There are 2 public parking structures close by that we recommend:

Telegraph/Channing Garage located at 2450 Durant Avenue, 1 block south of our office

Lower Sproul Parking Garage located at 2465 Bancroft Way, across the street from our office (limited spaces)

Additional parking can be found at:

  • The First Presbyterian Church Parking Garage (Underground), 2420 Channing Way. Entrance located on Channing Way between Dana Street and Telegraph Avenue
  • The Metropolitan Parking Garage, 2315 Ellsworth Street. Entrance located on the right side of Ellsworth Street between Durant Avenue and Bancroft Avenue

Airports

From the Oakland International Airport (OAK):

  • Allow about 1 hour to reach Berkeley by car.
  • If taking BART from OAK, board a “Richmond” train to the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Allow 45 minutes to reach Berkeley.

From the San Francisco International Airport (SFO):

  • Allow about 1.5 hours to reach Berkeley by car.
  • If taking BART from SFO, board an “Antioch” train, transfer at “19th Street Oakland” and board a “Richmond” train. Allow 1.5 hours to reach Berkeley.
