Listed below are facilities where you can host your campus events. Each venue is responsible for adhering to campus and City of Berkeley guidelines.
Important Guidelines
- The Career Center assumes no responsibility for logistics and does not provide staffing for events;
- Your event is not automatically advertised. You must submit event details via Handshake to advertise your information session on our calendar;
- The Career Center does not permit the serving of alcoholic beverages at any events on or off campus;
- The US Department of Justice has issued a publication titled: “Accessible Information Exchange: Meeting on a Level Playing Field.” This publication focuses on planning and conducting meetings and events that are accessible to people with disabilities.

Located next to Sproul Plaza, the MLK Jr. Student Union, and Zellerbach Hall on the south side of campus. Their event space can accommodate between 100-300 guests, and includes an outdoor patio.

Located 3 blocks south of campus. It features a built in platform that holds up to 50 people, and a courtyard outside that is ideally suited for receptions. The event space can accommodate between 150-275 guests.

A historic national landmark located across the street from the south side of campus. The Great Hall event space can accommodate between 200-300 guests and boasts high ceilings, stained glass windows, and two fireplaces.

CITRIS and the Banatao Institute
They book rooms in Sutardja Dai Hall, which is located on the Northeast side of campus near many of the Engineering buildings. Important! Rooms are only available during the day, between 7:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday.

Located 5 blocks southeast of the main Berkeley campus. The picturesque, Spanish colonial is a campus landmark. They offer smaller breakout rooms that accommodate 30-40, or larger style theater spaces that can accommodate up to 270.

Centrally located on campus in a quiet, wooded area close to everything. Their staff is very experienced in working with employers to host impressive events. Their event spaces can accommodate between 30-300 guests.

A boutique, landmark hotel and the home of Henry's bar and restaurant. Located 1 block south of the campus, their event spaces can accommodate 50-70 guests.

The original Berkeley hotel, a Mission style structure built over 100 years ago and newly renovated. Located in downtown Berkeley close to BART and 4 blocks west of campus, its event spaces can accommodate 60-300 guests.

Also known as "I-House" is Berkeley's gathering place for International students. Noted for its classic Spanish/Moorish style architecture, it is located at the top of campus near the Haas School of Business. Their event spaces can accommodate between 25-400 guests.

Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation
A modern building located near the Engineering buildings on the Northwest side of campus. Their event spaces accommodate between 45-130 guests.

Located in the heart of Berkeley's famous Sproul Plaza and across from the Career Center. The Tilden room offers beautiful stained glass windows and an outdoor patio. Their event spaces can accommodate 30-100 guests.

To schedule a coffee chat, you'll need to contact a local cafe and make all necessary arrangements. Most of the time you cannot reserve space beforehand, but need to arrive early on the day of your coffee chat to scope out space.
